In an ever-dynamic world, humanity is the living proof that change is inevitable. We can say that sometimes, these changes are much needed and strategic, especially in an organizational setting. Now, when decisions are taken for implementing them and it has a positive impact, we call it Organizational Development (OD).
OD is a process that focuses on increasing the efficiency of a business entity to achieve the previously set goals by developing, improving, and reinforcing several rational strategies, work processes, and structural changes within it. Let’s say, in simple words, that "the implementation of the practices, systems, and techniques that affect the organizational changes for the greater good is known as Organizational Development".
Tons of strategies can be implemented to bring in change into the ongoing working mechanism. But no matter what these strategies are, they are always directed to making things even better. We know that these changes are crucial but are never easy and thus, we’ll help you with each of the goals of OD:
1. Our team will help you strengthen interpersonal trust, cooperation, and communication among the employees.
2. We will help you boost the level of satisfaction and commitment in your employees through rewards, perks and initiatives for a better work-life balance.
3. Our OD practices and solutions are exclusively designed to encourage people in your organization to work through the problems and face them, instead of ignoring the ones at hand.
4. We believe in the power of Human Resources and therefore we help you implement norms of “Esprit De Corps” to your strategies.
5. We assist you in creating an environment of trust to make employees willing to accept and adapt to any kind of change.
6. We feel humans are what runs a company and we would love nothing more than helping you to encourage the employees to take initiatives and participate in organizational activities.
There are five phases that have been involved in the designing and implementing of Organizational Development, or abbreviated as OD. We, at HDL Consultancy, believe that our skilled and experienced team of professionals will help you curate the best strategic plan to bring in change that would result in OD and will further be leading you on the path of success. Let’s take a look at them:
Entry- It involves analyzing the problems, opportunities, or situations within the organization. Instead of the marketplace, we’ll help you do an elaborated SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis with your enterprise.
Diagnostics- Here, our team would try to understand the system in your organization by gathering, analyzing, and reviewing the data collected. In other ways will be by your side all the way through this "Fact-Finding Phase".
Feedback- This phase involves the return of all the analyzed data that our team will successfully get from the previous stage and we will help you outline appropriate solutions for the problems at hand, along with the defined success indicators based on the information analysis.
Solution- Now, here, the design, development, and implementation of the solution or set of solutions will be represented to you by our extraordinary team, which will be solely crafted to resolve the problems at hand, improve or enhance the overall organizational performance and effectiveness.
Evaluation- This stage will be representing the continuous analysis of data to determine whether the initiative is meeting its associated goals and achieving the pre-defined success indicators. It ends up with providing an evaluation report with recommendations for further improvement.
After all of this, we’ll make sure that our approach for OD is nothing but a way of achieving your organizational goals. We, at the HDL Consultancy, believe that nothing is more satisfying than witnessing organizations develop and become the best of their potential.
